Five rooms on two floors: the 139 m² steel-frame house
This two-storey steel-frame house offers a 5+1 layout on 139 m²: five rooms plus a living room, in the Turkish notation used on this site. It is designed for large families and for anyone who wants plenty of separate rooms without an oversized house. Two bathrooms share the load of a big household, and a balcony gives you a place to enjoy the fresh air. The building height is 2.50 m.
How a large family might use the 139 m² 5+1 plan
Five rooms leave space for many combinations, for example:
- A parents’ bedroom, three children’s rooms and a study
- Bedrooms for two generations living under one roof
- A guest room kept ready for relatives visiting from abroad
- A hobby, sewing or storage room
Ask to see the floor plan to find out how the rooms and the two bathrooms are distributed across the two floors. That decides who sleeps where, and whether there is a room without stairs for an older family member. Think, too, about which rooms need the most daylight and which can be quieter retreats.
Steel structure and wall build-up of the 139 m² model
The load-bearing structure is steel, which the manufacturer highlights for its resistance to earthquakes and harsh weather. The exterior walls are 22 cm and the interior walls 14 cm thick, and the façade combines OSB with a weatherboard-style finish. The windows are lead-free ERPEN PVC, the interior doors are moulded panel (“American-style”) doors, and the roof is covered with painted galvanised steel sheet or metal roof tiles. The modern façade is designed to fit in on a town plot as well as in the countryside.
