This steel-frame house is produced at our own plant in Söğütlü, Sakarya, and assembled on your plot by our installation crew. Steel-frame houses are planned individually; the structural design and the price are prepared for your plot.
Among our 17 steel-frame house models this one is number 7 by size: 3 m² more than the next smaller model (Steel-frame house, 143 m²) and 13 m² less than the next larger one (Steel-frame house, 159 m²).
146 m² steel house: five rooms and two balconies
The 146 m² steel-frame house combines five rooms with a large living room, two bathrooms and two balconies on two floors. In Turkish shorthand that is a 5+1: five rooms plus a living room. It is aimed at large families who need many separate rooms, whether the house stands in a city or in the countryside. The steel load-bearing system is described by the manufacturer as resistant to earthquakes and harsh weather, and the house can be set up faster than a conventional building.
Five rooms, many ways to use them
Five rooms give a lot of freedom. A few ways families might allocate them:
- a parents' bedroom, three children's rooms and a guest room for visiting relatives;
- a room for grandparents alongside the family bedrooms, for three generations under one roof;
- a dedicated study or home office, so work does not spill into the living room.
Two bathrooms serve all five rooms, so it pays to work out who shares which one and on which floor they sit. The two balconies are a real bonus: one can become a morning coffee spot, the other a quieter retreat, and it is worth deciding early which sides of the plot and which views they should face.
Construction and finish of the 146 m² model
With a 2.80 m ceiling height, the rooms feel open. Inner walls are 14 cm and outer walls 22 cm thick. The facade combines OSB with weatherboard-effect cladding and Betopan corner trims. Lead-free ERPEN PVC windows, American-style panel interior doors and concealed electrical wiring complete the interior. The roof comes in painted galvanised sheet, with metal tile as an option. Since electrical wiring runs inside the walls, fix socket and lighting positions for all five rooms before production.
